We’re excited to welcome BasementFIVE to this year’s Mimosas in the Park. Based in Olathe, Kansas, this creative brand is owned by Tami Nebesniak and offers upcycled bell bottoms, embroidered earrings, and unique accessories—all made from thrifted or repurposed materials.
What started as a personal project quickly turned into something bigger after Tami began getting compliments on her handmade jeans. With a background in social services, she’s now channeling her energy into building a business that blends creativity with sustainability. Her long-term vision is to grow BasementFIVE into a social enterprise that supports marginalized communities, but in the meantime, she’s focused on fighting fast fashion and making bold, one-of-a-kind items that last.

At her booth located at the Vendor Row powered by Mallshark, guests will find a curated mix of statement denim, hand-embroidered earrings, and original accessories. Everything is stitched and designed from her small apartment studio—complete with two sewing machines, an embroidery machine, and a mannequin named Manniqua, who will also be making an appearance at the event.
